Love Transcends The Stars: An EFC Fanfiction-Chapter 1: Before the Arrival

Lili Marquette had no clue how drastically her life would shift when the Taelons showed up on Earth.  Like many others, she was skeptical of them, but things took a turn when the Taelons introduced technology that improved life for everyone on Earth.

Lili eventually joined the protection team, where she formed a close bond with Da'an, a Taelon. A significant event drew them even closer, sparking a relationship that changed her entire understanding of love. A relationship that sets her on a life changing path.

(I do not own the rights to the Earth Final Conflict Characters, only the side characters that I create. This is the first chapter and I am slowly working on this fanfiction. Please enjoy the story.)

Lili Marquette's friend waved her over, saying, "Hey Lili, come sit here!"

Surprised, Lili replied, "I didn't know you were at the Red Dragon."

Cheryl chuckled and said, "I always come here on the last Friday of the month!" Wearing a satin silk sleeveless blouse with a black mini-skirt, Lili looked dashing. Her friend also wore a black outfit, a leather jacket, sexy low-cut black blouse and a mini skirt.

The music kicked in, and a male stripper stepped out from behind a red curtain. With his chiseled body and charming grin, he instantly caught the attention of the crowd of women.

As he made his grand entrance onto the stage, the audience erupted into a thunderous applause that echoed throughout the venue, creating an electric atmosphere. With every sultry sway of his hips, he captivated the crowd, igniting a wave of excitement that surged through the room. It was hard to miss the way many women in the audience seemed utterly entranced, their eyes wide with admiration and a hint of longing, as they watched him with a mix of awe and desire. The energy was palpable, and it was clear that he had them completely under his spell.

Cheryl couldn't contain her excitement as she exclaimed, "Oh, Lili, he’s just a total dream!" Her voice was filled with bubbly excitement that was hard to ignore.

Lili, on the other hand, couldn't help but chuckle at her friend's over-the-top reaction.

“You crack me up," she replied, her laughter ringing out as she watched Cheryl's eyes practically sparkle with delight when the male stripper dramatically peeled off his underwear, revealing a well-formed member.

In that moment, Lili's own eyes widened in surprise. She likes what she sees.

Lili's breath caught in her throat as she gazed at him, her heart racing.

“Oh my god, he truly is," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper, "a dream."

Her gaze swept across his face, completely drawn in by his charm. She imagined bringing him home for a night of passion. Cheryl caught the look on her friend's face.

“Oh no way,” she said with a pout. “He’s all mine.” Cheryl wasn't genuinely considering taking him home; she knew it was unrealistic. On the other hand, Lili, fresh out of a relationship and feeling lonely, just craved a sense of love and desire again. But one-night stands were all she can do for now. Getting involved again isn’t on her priority list. She signed, “I think he’s hot but...,”

“But you’re just not that interested,” Cheryl finished her sentence. Cheryl asked Lili if she’d want to go to a bar where the music is fine and the men are easily available.

“Well, maybe for a bit,” Lili said. After the show was over the friends went to Lane’s End, a bar and grill with music and entertainment.

Lili glanced around and remarked, "It’s a bit busy, isn’t it?"

Cheryl, with a playful smirk, replied, "Oh, you know, I’ve actually found some pretty attractive guys in this place before. Just the other night, I spotted a real hottie that I took home." She winked.

As she spoke, Lili’s gaze roamed the crowd, searching for that spark of chemistry that could lead to an exciting night.

The two women were having a blast, swaying to the rhythm of the music as they danced with a few guys who joined in on the fun.

After a while, they decided to take a break and settled down at the bar, where the bartender was quick to pour them another round of drinks. Meanwhile, the owner of the Lane’s End had splurged on a brand-new luxury flat-screen TV, which was currently displaying a late-night show, but honestly, no one seemed to care about what was on the screen.

The lively atmosphere and the laughter shared among friends were far more captivating than whatever was playing in the background. Out of nowhere, the show was abruptly cut off as a news broadcast took over the screen.

Lili squinted at the television, trying to decipher the urgency in the newscaster's expression, even though the sound was muted over by the music playing.

The visuals were disturbing, with flashing graphics and a serious tone that suggested something significant was unfolding.

What could be so crucial that it interrupted the show?” she mused.

At Lane’s End, the atmosphere was buzzing with a mix of chatter and laughter, as everyone seemed to be lost in their own little worlds, oblivious to what was happening on the TV.

Lili found herself glancing repeatedly at the television, while a man was talking to her. Her curiosity piqued by whatever was unfolding on the screen. Meanwhile, Cheryl was deep in conversation with a guy who had a charming smile, and it was pretty clear she had her sights set on bringing him home later that night.

Lili took a slow sip of her drink, trying to focus on enjoying herself, but her attention was inevitably drawn back to the TV, where an image suddenly flashed that looked strikingly like a spaceship from a sci-fi movie, but not the disc shaped kind. It was odd and very real. The sight sent a shiver of intrigue down her spine.

As the satellite captured its last image before going dark, she felt a strange pull to the television screen. Curiosity piqued, she stepped closer, her heart racing as she strained to catch the news reporter. The words "the visitors are here" echoed in her ears, sending a shiver down her spine. It was as if the world outside had shifted, and on the brink of discovering something monumental. The atmosphere felt ominous and she couldn't help but wonder what this meant-- for everyone.

(Some images are animated, so the characters probably don't look exactly like their originals. Since I am slowly working on this fanfiction, it will take time to post the next chapter. Also, this blog is where I post my new fanfiction before I add them to Wattpad and Ao3.)
